I`ve used several of these hoods, after priming you can finish sand those center lines to perfection. No problems with the hoods being a thinner gauge, fit was near perfect, just make sure your hood hinges are in great working order as they would bend a original hood don`t you know! some picts of the last two I used them on, and they were #1 cars
