I have some experience with filled blocks but however not on the street. Even the full fill engines (filled to the bottom of the water pump holes) run cooler as far as water temp and cool down faster between rounds.
Something I would consider monitoring is the oil temperature. The increased temp isn't an issue with a drag car but could be on a street engine.
