Question, why would you want to trade out an intake manifold that pre-dates the build date of your car by a reasonable amount of time, unless the part # is not correct for your application. A July 14, 69 car with an April 69 dated manifold seems reasonable to me. And it may well be the original/correct manifold for your car. For example, I have an 3rd wk of April 69 RAIII conv block cast C289 (Mar 28) Heads A299 (Jan29) & B049 (Feb 04) intake A229 (Jan 22) water pump B229 (Feb 22). All numbers pre-date the car, but not buy too much. Am I missing something? You can get walnut shells from Eastwood. Yes the alternator should have a date on it. Mine is B229 (Feb 22 69) & 1100700 but this number is for an a/c car. not correct for yours. I'll check & fill you in I another post, or someone else might.
