acid dipping/e-coating
I heard there were two ways of doing it. The process used on my car involves 14 different tank/neutralizing applications. I am not worried; although I have heard of a much quicker process that does lead to some concerns. I also trust the restorer implicitly, he is one of the best in the country. I do appreciate the comments, though.
I do not think an April dated intake is appropriate for a July car. I have heard many times that 6 to 8 weeks is maximum look back time. I think I miss by about a month.
Thanks for the input on the alternator and the walnut shells. Yes, I would be happy to sell the manifold which is properly coded once I find a June.
