it brought all the memories back in full, it still smells the same! my rub marks from my little feet are still on the driveline hump in the back. as far as shape, it's great considering it's age. i just took those pics yesterday, still wearing all it's original red lacquer, except the driver front fender, it has been replaced. the car only has 50,000 miles on it, leaks a little at the rear main,(that's odd!), but all the running gear has been gone through, interior looks good, a little worn but hey, it's 43 years old, and it's STILL on the planet. plans include freshening up rear end bushings,(wheel hop sumpin" fierce), new tires, dual fours, and maybe a treatment of steelies with dogdishes, the sudo super duty route.(previous owner badged it 421, so maybe i will have to live up to that!)
