Yes, the bumper is on the car. I also tried to switch them but since they are the same I had the same problem with the upper screw going in but the lower hitting the bottom edge of the bumper bracket. I don't want to damage the guard by bending it and making it fit if there is a right side. Could it be I have two lefts? There are no part #'s on either shield so I can't look them up.
