Go to your local junkyard and find a manual box from a late 80's to early 90's Chevy S-10 truck. Earlier years will work as well, I think. I found one for a GMC Sonoma (1991 I think) and it was a direct bolt in for my 79 T/A. Cost was under $100.
You'll have to reuse the pitman arm off of the old P/S box, so don't chuck it.
