When I'm buying something new, I always check out other resources before I look for that "deal" on Ebay. The deals are out there and yes, even on Ebay but you need to be informed before you commit with a bid on the prices available elsewhere.
A good example is when I was looking for bucket seats for my pickup, I decided on APC racing style seats. They were available locally (Ramchargers, Pep boys) for $149.00. On Ebay I found them for $69.00! I thought cool...until I read the "shipping and handling" charges of a flat $100.00 rate and to top it off they were about 30 miles from my house...and no pick up allowed, must be shipped!
