I did mine myself using parts supplied by Ol' Pinion Head. The hardest part was the lines. Despite several attempts to get pre-bent lines I wound up fabricating all the lines myself. They have probably gotten the problems with line fitment worked out since I did mine.
You could get all the parts from a salvage yard if you have the time to look and probably do it for less than $500.
If you want a self contained kit I'd go with one from SSBC or MP Brakes.
Yes, the bolt pattern will be the same as long as you use GM style rotors.
