I recently swapped my 67 lemans 2 speed tranny with a th400. I had to make sure the the tranny going in was going to bolt up to a pontiac motor( a chevy housing will not bolt up to a pontiac motor), relocate the tranny crossmember(move it back on the frame ), shorten or replace the driveshaft, purchase a shifter conversion kit to convert the floor shifter to a three speed and you will need a new driveshaft yoke.
