I also had my dash done by Just Dashes back in 1994. I paid $500 back then. I can see they have gone up on there prices considerably since then.

They did not actually redo my dash, they wanted my old dash as a core and sent me one that they already had done. I received my new one only ten days after sending them my old one.

I was told at the time that the vinyl they use is a thicker mil vinyl than was originally used by GM, and that they use an open cell foam as opposed to the closed cell foam that GM used. They said that the cells of the closed cell foam can burst over time and deteriorate and that the open cell foam would stand up better to the intense heat that a dash will encounter.

I was then and am now very pleased with the results. Even after 12 years its still looks like the day I installed it.
