yep, thats where i have mine mounted (i ll post a picture tomorrow) i fabbed up a bracket that hangs from the front of the floor pan right in front of the gas tank. i even insulated it with rubber gromets.

i wonder what would happen if you hung it from a radiator hose. stick the top of the pump in the hose, clamp it with a hose clamp and attach the top half to a bracket from the front of the trunk pan.. so it will hang and dangle freely...........kind of like a...........well, never mind

hhhhmmmmmm. i might give that a try because i think its the resonance that is bad, not so much the pump
