I got rear ended in mine about a year after I got it. I had driven it to work and was on my way home. Sitting in a line of traffic at a red light with a Jeep SUV behind me. I had glanced up in the rearview mirror for some reason and noticed a very "pained' look on the drivers face. BAM!!!!! He climbed out of the Jeep and apologized. His foot had slipped off of the brake and just touched the throttle and before he could control it had smacked me. I walked around back, scared to look. Turns out the bumper was trashed and the little trim piece in the middle of the trunk lid had the slightest scratch imaginable on it. His insurance replaced the bumper and paid me $90 to install it. It worked out great since the bumper he bent was already dented in a couple of spots and was surface rusted on top of the area where the tailpipes ended.
