I think B-man hit it. My first car was a 69 Cutlass with 350 and 2.56's. Nice on the freeway, not too bad off the light. If you have a ST-300, you should have a switch pitch converter. If so, maybe Hughes may be able to rework it to give you a higher loose stall.
