You might have got a drum master by mistake.
The proper disc/drum master for that car is the rectangular with a larger front bowl.
The corvette style will also work
The drum/drum master looks like this
All of these have a 1" bore for manual brake applications, but the stroke and fluid flow to the front brakes with the drum master is insufficient for stock disc brakes.
