There is no such thing as a brake in period. As long as you make sure your cam is broken in correctly and everything is right, you can hammer it at will. When I build a new race motor I don't "brake it in" I just do my burn out and run a full out 1/4 mile, and that's how it done. Braking in is for broke back cow boys.
