I looked at the link. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Bruce called the Ventura a street car. I live in the Inland Empire only a few miles from Bruce. I have gone to many, many shows and cruises all around and never saw that car anywhere other than at the track. And during that race, Didn't Bruce have slicks on the car? Hmmmmmm

I ran the same Tires that Dave ran and just because they're big doesn't mean they hook. I went from 10.70's to 10.08 switching from the Sportsman Pros to Slicks.

Anyway, I spoke with Andy at the Pontiac Heaven event last year. He told me the story about the race a WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT than the version Bruce wrote. In fact, Andy told me that he personally apologized to Dave for what Bruce wrote because it isn't true.
