Baja Gold Judge
Thought I would mention that the Judge was photographed and will appear in an upcoming issue of Pontiac Enthusiast magazine. I was pleased that the photographer chose to take shots of the carpet tags (McGee carpet company, 1969), seat belt tags, radiator tags, spiral shocks, carb numbers, touch-up paint kit, factory paint marks on the hood, time card found under seat, etc.). For those interested in originality, I hope the article is beneficial.
By the way, the body (and all other sheetmetal) to our 1969 Judge was just final e-coated. I know there has been a lot of discussion about whether that is the right thing to do or not. After watching the process, seeing the end result, understanding the 12 step neutralizing process, etc. I would never do it any other way. The 1969 should be done next May. I would be happy to try and post pics of the process although I have about 200 photos at this point. The hard question is whether it will be too good to drive. The beauty of these cars is looking at them, then getting behind the wheel. We had a blast this week with our 1970 cruising through the forests of southern Wisconsin!
