actually, no....
raced a 'circuit' in Va, WVa, NC, SC until 1982... won class championships, and overall championships during that time.
2500 LBS... w/o driver... ~ 200 ci, brooks rods, ross pistons, RAIV head and many different intake/ exhaust combinations...(they kept changing the rules on us...
.... fairbanks clutched turbo 400.
thru a chain drive transfer case we built.... the body at that time was m38A1 rear grafted to a cj2a cowl and ford 'jeep' front fenders, grille, etc.. and a modified ford frame.. 14.50 paddle tires on rear. Never took this one to Gravelrama....
our time really ended with a spun rod bearing ... in 1982-83... did a cost/benefit 'analysis' for a new combo....brought it home and have it in storage.... maybe one day to build a 'running' block for kicks and giggles...
