I also added a door lock switch like the '06 has by tapping in to existing wires on the BCM. It's pretty handy. I think there's guys selling kits on ls1gto.com now, but I did mine the hard way. Of course, you don't need that if you already have an '06.

I've also got a Superchips "tune" so I think that helped some. Still, I was basically hot-lapping it between passes and didn't play with tire pressure so I think there's room to improve with what I got. Some drag radials would definitely be a boon to my 60' times (2.1 sec), but I like the idea of seeing how fast I can go with the car setup exactly as it is on the street.
