I did the 80 swap in my old 4x and now it's in my dually. It's longer and heavier than the TH400, but can handle some nice numbers when built right, and the OD is nice on the highway. Be prepared to shell out at least $1500 for a kit to control it, getting a special lockup torque built another $800, etc... etc... It gets pricey, but if it's what you want then do it. There's also the option of getting it converted to a full manual valve body... I can't remember who makes a kit for that but it's becoming more popular. Hope it helps...
