So is the Q-jet carb that I have sitting on mine!....but....it has managed to win at the Pontiac Tri Power Nat's, the APEX Performance Street Car event, fastest street car racing at local track(s) on numerous occassions, more bracket racing events than I can remember, etc.

The very best part about running the Q-jet on the iron intake, is the look you get when folks take a gander under the hood in the staging lanes, right after you just blasted off a 7.30 1/8th mile run @ over 94mph with a "daily driven" car......the look....PRICELESS!......Cliff

PS: The Peformer intake is probably OK for 350's and 400's to about 425hp. It failed our testing MISERABLY on our 455 at 500hp, couldn't even use it, acted like a restrictor plate!......Cliff

73 Ventura, SOLD 455, 3740lbs, 11.30's at 120mph, 1977 Pontiac Q-jet, HO intake, HEI, 10" converter, 3.42 gears, DOT's, 7.20's at 96mph and still WAY under the roll bar rule. Best ET to date 7.18 at 97MPH (1/8th mile),
