A myth, lol, where did you get this info?

A barebones '71 455HO T-37 coupe will go 3475-3480 lbs. Add 22lbs for likewise stripper 455HO T-37 hardtop. I own one of each. The coupe is the factory Engineering car & was equipped with a/c & quite a few geegaw options. Believe it was the most loaded out coupe on Dan J's registry, but it will go under 3650lbs, have weighed it before. Have not weighed the GT-37. It is 455HO/auto with few factory options.
