The stock 78-81 WS6 tire size was/is 225 70 x 15.

Pontiac/GM really did their homework on this one.

If your T/A is reasonably stock & you're not into doing a lot of "smokey burnouts",you won't find a better suited tire size to your car!

With this size,ride quality,handling,braking and appearance are ALL First Rate!

A 255 x 60 15 is pretty much the same height as the 225 x 70 15,but about an inch wider.
These would be a consideration if you are running over 300 HP & have traction issues.
The fronts will just touch the inner fender/swaybar in lock to lock,but it doesn't hurt anything. Just makes a strange noise.

I've run 225 x 70 15's on the front & 255 x 60 15 's on the back before & that works out real well,also.

BF. Goodrich Radial T/A's have that GOOD OEM look & are reasonably priced with great "street cruiser" performance
