"do the rear yourself. with a floor jack ,a pair of jack stands and an impact it'll take about 15 minutes. jack the rear of the car up and take bottom of the shocks loose, then let the rear diff down until the springs are free pull one spring out at a time and then install the new one. you may have to pry each side down when installing the new spring, but it's really no big deal."


Hey Mike I tried to do the rear on my 69 GTO, I followed your directions but the old springs seems to be so tall that they will not come loose. Do you think I should try to get an coil spring compressor? Thanks!
