A 67-75 (original GM) Firebird parts book would have a been a better choice for your book purchase.
I think you would be more successful looking within Pontiac,as opposed to other GM divisions.
I've found that most bracketry is specific to the engine family.A TCS switch could have other GM non-Pontiac applications,but the welded on mounting brackets are different for each engine application.
MOST Pontiac V-8's from 72 & 73 had similar intake brackets & hardware,but 2bbl vs 4 bbl. parts can be different.
The original GM parts books can be expensive,but CD copies can be had on Ebay for around 15.00
