I don't know if this helps as I have a 1970, but here's what I encountered. One of my rearmost body bolt nuts spun while I was replacing the bushings. There is a raised "dimple" in the flat sheet metal of the trunk floor just behind the rear wheel well housing. It is probably about 1" or so in diameter. The nut is just below that dimple. I used a small pneumatic cutting tool and cut three sides of a square so that it left a flap of sheet metal. I just pried that up, replaced the bolt and bent it down afterwards. Not sure if your car has the same set up, but it worked great with mine.
