I accompanied Russell most of the time he went to check on progress of the job.
The owner frequently said that the paint would be show quality. Even went to the extent of showing us pictures of past cars he had painted that were of show quality.
He prided himself on having 35 years paint/body experience and that he was an exclusive DUPONT shop, as he quoted their products were superior over the other brands.
What's wrong in this picture?.......a veteran paint & body man AND shop owner, had to paint this vehicle 3 times before a quality appearance could be obtained.
If the owner had to pay out of pocket expenses for his inability to do a job as promised, then he bears the consequences of his actions.
This whole ordeal could have been eliminated if he would have come forth, swallowed his pride and said he couldn't shoot the paint properly.
