I looked up the cam, and I realize it's the same one both I and a friend used about 20 years ago.

It was a bit small, but fine, in my 9:1 400 w/ 3.08 gears. My buddy had it in his 9:1 455 (bowl work), 3:55 gears, stock manifolds, and it was just too small.

I remember it seemed 'done' by 4500 rpm, tops.
