Skip- thats the thing it is very difficult to compare.

One engine might have x% of total tqe available at Xrpm, change the heads and the overall tque might climb but the actual tqe available at the same rpm is higher

With the head change it might be a lower tqe% at the same rpm but you can't tell because the overall tque rose. So in effect the "new" combo is flat if you could compare numbers in terms of %.
