Well i rounded up a balancer off my 75 400 core and bought a new flexplate.. niether one has weights on it so im thinking the engine is internally balanced? Either way, the parts are there if my balancer guy needs em... havent had time to get the engine apart yet tho.
Turns out the 400 core has aftermarket pistons with dual valve reliefs cut in em... never seen that before. Plus it has a balanced crank! Currently soaking it to see if the block is saveable.
