Agree with the burn off of the moisture and also that you need a proper PCV system as the corrosive gases are really bad on the lower engine without a good one working. Engine live went up tremendously one people figured out that they needed to expel the corrosive gases in the crankcase. The road draft tube was the first step in that direction. PCV is a much better step.
Warm up the engine properly for a while and then look for condensation in the covers.
