The lever does not lock the steering wheel. The key rotating to the off position locks the wheel. Sheeees. I am about done with you guys.
If you put your car in reverse, do you think the steering wheel is going to lock? I hope not.
The lever just rotates the collar so the ignition can return to off. You can't get the key out until then.
