The car IS an excellent job. I've seen it both at Norwalk and VMP. Attention to detail, quality of paint, etc. THAT'S what a show car is about. The more outrageous some of the equipment, the higher on the list, outside the "stock" realm.

It isn't all that far-fetched, either. In the early '60s, there was an early version of a funny car called "Miss Deal". I believe it was Revell that made a model of it. It was a '53 Stude with a Chrysler Hemi and a "pyramid" intake and two GMC blowers. I believe Edelbrock fabricated the manifold, but have no real info for that. I DID see the car once, when I was 12, at Fontana ('66).
