Thanks again guys this is all helpful. I see you guys dont play when it comes to the the Poncho's and making power. I love the input. I'm a sponge just soaking it all up. I'll keep everyone posted on my plan and how it turns out. I'm pulling the motor this week and will begin the teardown. On a side note It's gonna feel good to build something other than small and BBc's. I built one for my 70 SS 396. Full roller 468 w/merlins. Tried to go for factory appearing sleeper look but as soon as it starts I'm sure the gig is up ! I built the motor to dip in the 11's with the help of slicks. I'm going for the same concept with my 67 2+2 4spd car but 12's for now and i'm happy.
