one more tidbit...the printed EUN on my PHS paperwork has 000000 not sure if tis is a van nuys thing or what...my guess is once teh vin was stamped on blocks in 1968 the need for an eun was gone...or i should say th need to TRACK a eun for warantee purposes was less of an issue so perhaps pmd stopped worry about tracking this with their paperwork...
that said i have had euns on teh billing history for 1968 that were NOT 000000...these cars tho were much earier in teh 1968 build cycle and were from lordstown...
just trying to add some pieces to the eun pie...

The zero's is a 68 RA anomaly and seems to be in April/May cars. I have billing history cards on RA cars (GTO's) built before and after that have EUN #'s, but it seems that when these cars went to production, they had no idea what motor was going in them. My car also has zero's in the Trans Unit Number box as well (auto).
I had no idea that this occurred with the Firebirds - thanks for the info.
