I have an original 67 GTO with an HO engine built in November 66. The fuel pump has only an inlet and outlet. The outlet of the pump goes thought a 3/8 hard line to the filter mounted on the manifold. There are two outlets from the filter. The 1/4 inch line goes back to the return line to the tank (also through a hard line) and the 3/8 outlet goes to the carb. Hope that helps
