I know I wouldn't do it, but then again if I was towing any distance I wouldn't tow a trailer with that kind of weight with anything less than a 3/4 ton truck (2500 series GM/Dodge, 250 series Ford). For one, I think in order to get enough tongue weight to keep the trailer from fish-tailing it would trash the rear springs of the Bonne. The next problem is stopping the rig once up to speed. Even with trailer brakes I would think you'd want to keep plenty of room between you and what's ahead. Back in the '70's my Dad used to pull cars he would buy out of town with cars similar to your Bonnie but without a trailer. That way the weight of the towed car wasn't on the tow vehicle. Maybe someone else has more experience than me that will have a better answer for you. Good luck.
