My understanding of these so called "no reserve" auctions is that if the price is not bringing what the seller wants, they simply bid on it themselves, or have someone they know bid. They simply buy it back. Sure, it costs them 18%, but the 18% may be a far better payout then losing your azz to an under bid vehicle. Who would buy these cars at a BJ auction for these inflated prices? When you can go out like Greg did and buy it at a national show. These cars are out there to be had like that, heck even on ebay, but there you run into the same problem at BJ.
