Hey Rich. I own one of the 455 HO Convertibles too and moved to Michigan (Canton) in July. Would love to see your car sometime! Are you close by?
BTW, Rich doesn't call the 455 an HO in '70 but Pontiac did. And when tested in Car Life Magazine against a RA3 car the 455 just BARELY lost in the 0-60 and the 1/4 mile and the RA3 car had no a/c and 3:71 gears against the 455's a/c car with 3:31 gears. In other words they're almost the same performance EXCEPT the magazine said the 455 car was clearly the better driver around town because most of it's HP was useable in the low end while the RA3 was more of a high-winder with more of its HP available at the upper end.
