B-man gave good advice. Hanging from the rafters with a couple cargo straps works for me. I run the straps the long way, not across the hood, kinda like a hammock. The 74 hood hasnt warped much, but the 71 and 72 hoods fit funky now. The 72 had a carb fire with the previous owner, that might account for it. The 71 is just beat so whoever beat it messed it up pretty bad.

The springs will cause the hood to bulge in the middle, its much worse with the springs for a steel hood. The glass hoods had lighter springs but still they bulge after time. if you have the room, standing it against the wall on a side works nice. I tend to run into things store like that.. up is often out of the way for me..lol.
