OK, I see your point and do not profess to be an expert on 71 TA's although I have been following the prices lately. Was there not the option for the ram air III or Ram air IV in 1971? I don't know myself but I thought there was. I like to look at NADA and other "guides" if I am looking at buying because to me this is a more realistic, not so inflated value. If I were selling however, sure the Barrett Jackson and other auctions and Hemmings is a place to look to see how much people with too much money are willing to spend on a upper end car for a luxury investment. To me if I were buying a 73 SD $49K (NADA top cond) sounds maybe a little low but $125-150K sounds a little retarded. Yea, I know all the mopar stuff is bringing in that much and why shouldn't the pontiacs. Well in my humble opinion I think the mopar prices have been retarded for some time now. And if your selling a rare car and someone is willing to pay an exorbitant amount of cash hey thats great, I guess I will just bow out like I am going to do with this thread.
