Brad explained it all before,to use the V-8 cam you need to use the V-8 crank,this matches the firing pulses and makes it work,I'm sure he'll fill all here in on the details.

I believe they used some cut off "dummy" rods for the extra rod journal space and help with the balance issues.

Yeah,I figured an early ford rod would be a pretty straight forward project,have lots of ideas how to make it unique and such,ya'll know,give it some pontiac flavor!!!

I'm thinking of using a modified wenzler tunnel ram (w/the LH runners cutoff and the plenum welded up) then use dual holley 2300 2bbls. mounted sideways up-top ala' split dominators on a V-8,then a fogger system for some "kick" when needed.

I'll include my "super double top secret" spy shot of the photo mock up of that for sh!ts and grins...
