Just because someone chooses to restore a car, as opposed to cutting it up into a racecar, doesn't mean they are any less "into" the hobby then you. It is the restoration business that has kept this hobby alive (remember who sponsors this site?). The hobby is big enough for all types (restorers, clones, racers, etc.).
