For all the nay sayers I will add my 2 cents, I have set on the sidelines and enjoyed the spirited debate.

I will try to answer a couple things I know, again I am not getting in the middle, just passing on info. I do have a set of heads there currently looseing weight.

I guess it was like a quest for him, I was not there for the dyno session but I know of the dyno. It is at a well established engine shop in Abiline. That shop puts out a number of high dollar High HP engines. As far as Jim goes I have known him and of him for a couple of years. He has a full time job but does this in his spare time. Has has been selling sheetmetal intakes to Butler and others throughout the years. He has also done some out of house heads for them in the past.
As far as the heads go...I would guess more like lots & lots of hours, flowing grinding over and over. Serveral from this area wondered if they would fly apart on the dyno. But they did not. Lots of time and expense was put into the shortblock also. Don't forget a big vacuum pump and other goodies. He probably has a bundle in it, not counting time. But that was his deal a maximum effort Dport with stock (well modified) castings
