i bought my 70 conv. in 1990. several moves and other reasons kept me from getting started on it until 2000. then 5 years and a pile of cash and it was on the road. best before picture i have is of my bouvier (large dog) sleeping on the top of it. he went onto the car from the deck and took a nap in the sun !
