LOL. Yeah, I think everyone likes it! I know I do. As mentioned, I saw another GV that color, but it had the road wheels and I think these wheelcovers suit that color much better. As mentioned, I have these "finned" covers to, but I think I may switch back over awhile to my standard Grand Ville hubcaps, which look like the Catalina hubcaps, save for the center emblem on the Catalina is a Pontiac emblem and the Grand Ville has the "starburst" like is in the emblem on the "C" pillar. (BTW - my starburst inserts are missing on my car. I bought some replacements (from a 72' Grand Ville) and was going to use the centers from them, but could not bring myself to take them out).
We will look forward to the photos after the cleaning and reinstallation on the skirts. They are very easy to take on and off. I most always remove mine when I wash it, that way I can clean up in the wheelwells very well.
Good to hear about your Am-Fm sounding good. Mine is AM only, but we have some good AM stations here (mostly classic country, talk radios and gospel), so I have something to listen to when I drive it. I know where there is a local 73' Bonneville 4dr with an AM-FM radio and I was going to get it, but I wanted to keep my car original, so I passed on it. I may get it yet, if its an easy changeover. I know that I do not have the rear speakers option... only the one in the front dash panel (front, top and center). Still sounds good though. My 69' Caprice has AM-FM, which was a little rare for that year.
I think I know of that switch for the heat/AC you mention... I have no idea, but I would imagine that it would be impossible to get a replacement. If its working OK, I would not worry too much about it.
Speaking of engine bays... I got to take one of mine this evening and its horrible. I will post it soon. After you see mine, you will not mind posting yours. Mine still has the original dust since 1973 on it.

Tennesseestorm, I'm just having that one squeek. I don't hear a peep anywhere else. What has thrilled me most thus far is that she is tight mechanically: no oil/trans/coolant/power steering leaks. The car is also quiet (other than that squeek) in terms of road noise. And the AM/FM sounds quite good through the speakers.
BTW, you are 100% correct: I DO have the skirts, and They WERE in the trunk (along with a spare tire that has never seen asphalt and a few other items). I plan to put them on soon, but didn't want to put 'em on only to have to take them off again because of some unforeseen maintenance issue.
