if you plan on using the factory a/c compressor location you will have to notch and rebox the frame (not a big deal). brp also makes a kit with mounts for an lsx engine into a second gen. some conversion kits out there requires you to mod the oil pan (brp doesn't). im using slightly modded 4th gen pacesetters for headers. you will need to get an f-body oil pan, windage tray, dipstick and tube as the gto pan is a front sump. you really need to go over to ls1tech.com and look in the conversions and hybrids section, theres alot of guys doing this kind of stuff and are very helpful. as far as i know nobody is yet making a rack and pinion setup for the second gen unless you go with an aftermarket subframe, which makes everything easier, but expensive
