Always liked Firestone slicks (now Phoenix) ran'em without tubes, they leaked. Soaped them, lasted for a while, seamed like the soap dried up what with the heat in the tire & wrinkling on launch. Soaping was short lived. Tires would go flat in a week. I run tubes.
