Personally, if I run any kind of slick on a car with any kind of power, I would put screws in the wheels/beads whether they would be tube or tubeless.
Just make sure the screws are aimed at the bead when installing them.
They can start to go toward the tire just above the bead.
Then they may go through the tire and possibly leak air there.
